It signifies the core of being and one's true path in the Great Work. The mode of consciousness attributed to the Sun is Collecting Intelligence, signifying transcendent intellect that collects or culls knowledge from the whole self. The Sun, as in nature, nurtures and invigorates new growth and regeneration within all areas of the self.
