In many ways Leigh J. McCloskey is a modern Renaissance Man. His interest, knowledge and learning ranges from history, religion, mythology and esotericism to string theory, quantum physics and the multidimensional nature of consciousness. He has deeply studied Hermeticism, Alchemy and Kabbalah and has hosted a twice weekly salon at his home for over twenty years. He has contributed numerous essays on topics ranging from William Blake and the Heroic Imagination to Jacob Boehme and Theosophical Thought. His work reveals many depths of knowledge and craftsmanship that could only have emerged from his fidelity to intellectual, creative and personal excellence.

Leigh spent the last 18 years creating an entirely original interpretation of the Major Arcana of the Tarot. His drawings and text included in his recently published book Tarot ReVISIONed represent what might easily be considered the most profound inquiry into its depths to have emerged in a very long time.	My art is a tool I use to dig beneath the surface value or appearance of things and ideas. I use my painting to explore subjective realities upon which and from which objective or perceptual reality emerges. Leigh's Artwork has just recently been on tour with the Rolling Stones. Take a look and see for yourself.	Leigh J. McCloskey studied acting at the prestigious Julliard School at Lincoln Center in New York City. When he returned to his home state of California he quickly moved into a professional acting career.
